Tentacle throat gag tickle nostril8/22/2023 ![]() Stress always brings on more episodes and once it's acted up bad I always end up being woken up at least once during the night with an attack. I feel so bad for anyone going through this because I know how horrible it is. I'm praying that where it is soooo bad this time that I may find something out and get some kind of relief. I have went to the doctor about it once already but found out nothing. It's very frustrating not knowing what is causing this. You can't control it! Once the tickling starts that's it! People look at you like you are some kind of freak but in the meantime you are scared to death that you may be taking your last breath. I have had to run out of supermarkets because I was scared that I would throw up. Eight so far today! It is very embarressing because you never know when it's going to come on you. Today has been the worst day for attacks in a while now. I am going to the doctor tomorrow and praying that I find something out. It is absolutely terrifing! I have no idea what is causing it but over the last few years it's just steadily gotten worse. Then finally some phlem breaks up and it finally starts to slowly calm down. My eyes get red and bloodshot and I start to sweat. Then I usually end up having to throw up. It's just a dry hard cough that continues non stop until I start to sneeze and tears stream down over my face. It comes out of nowhere and it's very scarey! It starts off with a tickle in the throat then followed by watery eyes and then the awlful, horrible cough. I've been struggling with this now for over 5 years off and on. I am in total shock tonight to see that there are so many other people suffering from this horrible cough. Well best of luck getting over your gaggings. I went to an ENT and he did tell me that i have build up in my tonsils. Well when I do decidee to have my tonsils removed hopefully that will be the answer. I have tilted my head so many ways i think i may have caused some vertebrea's to fall out of place. I have done everything, hot hot liquids, cough drops (which seem to help me more than anything), mouth wash gargles, salt water, facial spas, steam showers, thinking the moisture would help.It is embarassing but I just tell people I have to gag right now.My kids will hear me and ask me "MOM are you alright?" I can't believe so many others suffer. Also in the winter especially with the heat from the furnace. It really worsens when i get a cold or getting over a cold. I think with those glands in the back of my throat are garbage collectors that make this thing worse. I am thinking of getting my tonsils removed. The gagging the watery eyes the coughing the blowing my nose and seems so little comes out. When I started to research this I thought I would find nothing. It is a pinch on the right or left side of throat near my tonsils. The pinching starts out of "nowhere" "anytime".

Escher tessellation images8/22/2023 ![]() All of Escher’s tessellations by recognizable figures are derived from just a handful of geometric patterns.Įscher created his tessellations by using fairly simple polygonal tessellations, which he then modified using isometries. Escher organizes his tessellations into two classes: systems based on quadrilaterals, and triangle systems built on the regular tessellation by equilateral triangles. He used these figures to tell stories, such as the birds evolving from a rigid mesh of triangles to fly free into the sky in Liberation. Though Escher’s goal was recognizability, his tessellations began with geometry, and as he grew more accomplished at creating these tessellations he returned to geometry to classify them. He wanted to create tessellations by recognizable figures, images of animals, people, and other everyday objects that his viewers would relate to. The most common tessellations today are floor tilings, using square, rectangular, hexagonal, or other shapes of ceramic tile. Escher’s primary interest in tessellations was as an artist. ![]() ![]() It also explains how they can be transformed using translation, rotation and glide reflection to create shapes like fish.Ī tessellation, or tiling, is a division of the plane into figures called tiles. Water after transplanting seedlings8/22/2023 ![]() When transplanting is finished, make sure the seedlings are labelled.Do not let the seedling slip low in the tube while the soil is settling. Gently tap tube (while still holding on to the seedling keeping it the height you require) settling soil again. Add more soil to each side of the seedling. The soil will settle leaving your seedling sitting with some of the root exposed.Hold the seedling head lightly between your first two fingers to hold the seedling in place while you gently tap the tube so that the soil settles and the seedling stays in the position aligning the root neck with 1.5 cm mark on the tube. This way if one seedling does not survive transplanting the other might. You can put two seedlings in the tube if you have extra.Make sure the roots are straight downwards in the tube. Place the seedlings against the side of the soil so that the uppermost roots (usually there is a change of colour between the stem and the neck of the root) are a few millimetres under the surface and gently back fill the tube with soil.Later in life as the tree grows larger it will not have the root mass to sustain the head of the tree and it will fall over. When the seedling is planted out the root system will not spread. Bent roots will continue to spiral (this is known as root girdling). It is very important to keep the root straight and not bent, curled or twisted. Roots longer than the tube should be trimmed back to ½ the length of the tube (the tap root grows quickly this is the reason to transplant as early as possible while the root is still relatively short). ![]() Lightly pack the soil so that it will stay in place when you turn the tube upright. ![]() Half fill empty tube on the diagonal so that there is a clear path to the bottom of the tube.Empty remaining soil out the tube that you will put the transplanted seedling into.To minimise shock and stimulate root growth, seedling roots can rest in a weak solution of a seaweed based liquid fertiliser for indigenous seedlings (make sure only the roots and not shoots are submerged). Put seedlings that are to be transplanted into wet newspaper folded over the roots to keep them from stressing while waiting to be transplanted. Loosen the soil by squeezing together the corners of the tube.Make sure your seedlings are well hydrated by giving them a thorough watering or immerse them in a tub of water a couple of hours before disturbing the seedlings. They will need some pampering (semi shade and perhaps extra watering)for a couple of weeks after the process If it is too hot you may lose the seedlings. Remember to follow the hygiene rules and disinfect any equipment you use.

Ifinance canada8/22/2023 ![]() In this anonymous reply, the user gave me a lot of resources to check out like the ‘Canadian Portfolio Manager Blog,’ book (what book?), and personal finance tools and articles accessible on the forum’s wiki page. The next day I received a detailed answer. I posted my question at 9 AM,waited 24 hours, and checked back later. Providing information such as my age, income, status, and expenses allows other users to give me more tailored advices based on my situation. I noticed that in order to receive the most accurate answers from fellow members, I needed to be clear about my situation. So, I decided to ask my question on Reddit Personal Finance Canada for some insights. While Hardbacon has a wonderful online brokerages comparison tool, I wanted to get an answer from the community. ![]() What I learned on Reddit Personal Finance CanadaĪfter reading post after post on this forum, nothing related to my questions about online brokers (at least over the past couple of days). Some examples of questions you can find under this thread are “Should I pay my entire student loan in full?” “What is the difference between a TFSA and an RRSP”, or “How can I start building a balanced portfolio?” This thread invites everyone to ask questions regardless if their question is considered “stupid.” It makes finance more attractive and easy to talk about. Some of the comments left under this thread include students paying off the entirety of their student debts after years of financial difficulties, people buying their first home with the money they invested, or mortgage payment updates.Īnother weekly thread we can find on this subreddit is “Moronic Monday Thread of the week.” It is meant for users to ask, ‘stupid questions,’ related to personal finance. I found this thread really encouraging and uplifting. Some days of the week, specific threads are created for different purposes, such as “Triumphant Thursday Thread of the week” or “Moronic Monday Thread of the week.” “Triumphant Thursday Thread of the week” is used for users to “brag” about their success of the week regarding their personal finance. This subreddit gathered more than 235,000 members, which is a really efficient way to ask questions and receive quick responses from other users. It is possible to filter to only show posts about a specific topic in personal finance, for example, banking, debt, budget, etc. Any user can post questions, news articles, or tips related to personal finance. The main page called “post” shows you the forum part. ![]() It took me a good 10 minutes to understand how to use this platform. There is a lot of information and links you can click that will lead you to another Reddit subreddit with even more information. When I first looked at the /r/PersonalFinanceCanada Subreddit, I felt quite overwhelmed. While Reddit has a homepage upon which highly upvoted content is displayed, you can access different forums (or subreddits) about different topics such as /r/PersonalFinanceCanada, /r/investing, and more.Ī list of other communities or subreddit related to r/PersonalFinanceCanada My experience browsing the Personal Finance Canada Subreddit. Users submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images and videos, which are then voted up or down by other users. There is no “like” system, as seen with other social media platforms instead, they use a voting system. It’s an American social news platform, web content rating, and discussion website. Reddit was founded in 2005 by Alexis Ohanian, Steve Huffman, and Aaron Swartz. What is Reddit and why subreddits matter?īefore going into more detail about my experience, I want to give you a quick overview of what Reddit is. Little did I know it would teach me a lot about personal finance. I knew what Reddit was, but I have always viewed it as this dark and unknown side of social media that I never bothered looking into. After spending a long night searching online for any possible information that could help me with my search for the perfect online broker for students, I came across the Reddit Personal Finance Subreddit. As a young adult in my 20s, every time I encounter a minor problem or have a doubt about something, I know Google will always be there with all the answers.

Sugar maple leaf new hampshire8/22/2023 One more benefit is that, with deep root fertilization, you are ensuring your trees won’t have to compete with other plants for these nutrients as they are being sent right to your tree’s root system. The method of injecting the fertilizer down to the root system will also aerate the soil around your tree’s roots, allowing oxygen and moisture to penetrate deep and helping your trees even more. These slow-release fertilizers give your maple trees the nutrients they need over a long period of time, keeping your trees healthy and giving them the boost they need for strong growth. ![]() So how do you get your trees the nutrients that they need? Deep-root fertilization is the answer.ĭeep root fertilizing is the method of injecting vital nutrients directly to the roots of your trees. Asian chicken breast recipes8/21/2023 Now that we’ve covered the ingredients for these juicy chicken breasts, let’s make them! How to Make Asian Baked Chicken Breasts:Īdd all of the ingredients for the marinade (everything but the chicken) to a small bowl and whisk until well-combined. Optional Additions: garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning or your own seasonings or store-bought seasoning blend are always optional additions to customize the flavor to your heart’s delight. Also feel free to add black pepper or cayenne pepper to taste. Sea Salt: Because fish sauce and coconut aminos (or soy sauce) contain a decent amount of salt, hold off on adding any kosher salt until after the chicken is finished baking and you have a chance to taste it. You can also use cider vinegar or lime juice if you prefer. ![]() Rice Vinegar: Vinegar adds that zingy tang that is so delicious in Asian-style foods. On the contrary, if you love spicy food, increase the amount of sriracha to your personal taste. Nevertheless, if you prefer very mild food, omit the sriracha. The way I have the recipe written, the chicken is not spicy. Sriracha (optional): A little sriracha adds just the slightest kick to round out the flavor palate. If you make this switch, don’t add salt to the marinade, because both fish sauce and soy sauce have a great deal of sodium. If you do cook with soy, feel free to swap the coconut aminos with liquid aminos or soy sauce. You can replace the pure maple syrup with brown sugar if you’d like.Ĭoconut Aminos (or Liquid Aminos): In case you aren’t familiar with coconut aminos, it is used as a soy-free replacement for soy sauce. Pure Maple Syrup: A small amount of pure maple syrup brings a sweetness and stickiness to the marinade and offsets the savory flavors. It is customarily used in many Asian dishes, so I recommend picking some up if you enjoy cooking Asian food at home.įresh Garlic: Loads of garlic bring so much flavor to these tasty baked boneless chicken breasts! If you love garlic, feel free to increase the amount, or you can replace it with 1 tablespoon of garlic granules or garlic powder. I prefer using avocado oil over olive oil when cooking at a high temperature, but you can use olive oil if it’s what you have on hand.įish Sauce: While fish sauce may seem intimidating if you’ve never tried it, it adds to the richness, salt content, and umami flavors of the dish. If you love sesame oil, you can increase the amount if you’d like. Because sesame oil has a bold, distinct flavor, you don’t need very much of it. In this sense, I recommend either buying whole chicken breasts with the intention of slicing them, or purchase chicken filets, chicken cutlets, or chicken tenders (which are the same as the aforementioned, but the slicing is pre-performed by the butcher).Īvocado Oil & Sesame Oil: Avocado oil and a touch of sesame oil are the fat portion of the chicken marinade. This helps ensure the chicken bakes evenly without them turning out dry, as thicker breasts require a longer period of time to cook and you’re often left with dry chicken. I use chicken filets, chicken tenders, or I slice regular chicken breasts in half down the center to get a thinner cut. ![]() Ingredients for Asian Baked Chicken Breasts:īoneless Skinless Chicken Breasts: Our lean protein of choice in this simple recipe. Let’s discuss the simple ingredients needed to make this tasty chicken breast recipe. Just like my Lemon Garlic Baked Chicken Breasts, this is one of those recipes you can easily put on repeat any time the need for lean protein calls! Great for meal prepping for meals throughout the week or tossing together on a busy weeknight. It’s the sauce that gives the whole experience an unforgettable POP, as it produces a sticky, caramelized effect that gives the chicken mouth-watering appeal. Perfectly tender, juicy, loaded with yummy sweet and sour flavors for a remarkably easy healthy main dish that is also quite fun. I’m an oven baked chicken thighs gal myself because I’m a sucker for fat, but I’ll take a juicy breast as long as it’s nice and tender and flavorful.Īnd that’s exactly what these Asian Baked Chicken Breasts are. Some people prefer thighs (or dark meat). Here’s the thing: some people prefer breasts (or white meat). This caramelized baked sticky chicken recipe makes for a healthy weeknight meal.Īfter my Asian Baked Boneless Chicken Thighs broke the internet, it dawned on me we could all use a chicken breast version of that recipe too. ![]() Asian Baked Chicken Breasts have that sweet, savory, umami delicious flavor common in Asian cuisine. |
